If you are experiencing problems with your BMW or MINI CAS (Car Access System) module, please start by completing the repair request form and provide a clear description of the issue you are experiencing.

Once we receive your information, you can send the CAS unit to us for inspection and quotation.

Inspection / Diagnostic Fee

  • The inspection fee is £60 and applies to quotation requests only.

  • After testing the module, we will contact you with the repair options and final quotation.

 

Important Information

  • The £60 fee is non-refundable and covers the diagnostic inspection and return postage if you decide not to proceed with the repair.

  • If you accept the repair quotation, the £60 already paid will be deducted from the final repair price.

Replacement Immobilizer Solution

If your original CAS unit is missing, severely damaged, or beyond repair, we can also prepare a completely new immobilizer unit for your BMW, without requiring data from the original module.

BMW CAS Repair – Common Faults

Typical BMW CAS module failures include:

  • Corrupted EEPROM data after voltage drop

  • Failed CAS3 flash during programming

  • No crank / ELV fault

  • Key not recognized

  • Vehicle stuck in immobilizer active state

These problems can often be repaired by correcting EEPROM data or recovering the CAS dump.

The BMW immobiliser system is very reliable from the time it has been introduced until this days. The most popular is CAS system covering most cars from 2004 - 2015. 
The CAS module is the little box which can be in white or black colour. Cas module response for the synchronization between many modules in our BMW. First it recognise weather key is correct if so giving the autorization signal to ECU or gearbox which let us start the car.
Basically if you replace the ECU or CAS or gerabox EGS control module car wont start again without special software synchronisation.
Very important is to update CAS/FEM software which make our BMWs nearly not possible to make the key afterwords.

Update CAS unit

No matter if you have EWS/ CAS or FEM module we always recommend to perform software update to latest available relisted by BMW. This way making our cars much more safety and nearly eliminate thefts. 
BMW CAS 3 cars ( 2005- 2013) without latest update can be easily stolen in 1 minute with the latest update nearly not possible make new key in a quick way.
